AWS now design, manufacture and install various elements of chemical stripping tanks to fully strip coatings from the surface of Alloy Wheels. Our technical team have now developed stripping tanks in conjunction with a very reputable Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Company. AWS chemical stripping tanks have been designed to be as efficient as possible with carefully selected heating elements controlled by a thermostat within its control panel to heat up the Oil within its structure. Every tank comes with its own Alloy Wheel Carrier system capable of stripping up to 8 to 10 wheels depending on the size of the wheels within out standard tank size. The Alloy Wheel Carrier uses a hoist for east operator control and to aid as less contact with the chemical solution as possible.
The Alloy Wheel Carrier System is easily lowered to a nonslip grid over a bunded retaining area, the Alloy Wheels are then transferred to a Wash Bay with filtration system allowing for any remnants of the broken stripped coatings that may come off the Alloy Wheels during the washing process. Any Chemical solution captured during the washing process can be neutralised prior to disposal or collection by a waste disposal Company. AWS in collaboration with a reputable Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Company identified and advise the Chemical solution should be filtered every 150-180 Alloy wheels stripped in any one Chemical stripping Tank. AWS has worked with a filtration Company to co-develop a pump bypass unit to keep the Chemical Solution at its best!

The whole AWS Alloy Wheel Stripping System is housed with a canopy and a firm modular construction framework allowing anyone to add more Chemical Stripping Tanks should their business grow! Within the Canopy is and extraction fan allowing extraction of any chemical vapour that may expel into the atmosphere when the Chemical Tanks are opened by their force loaded hinges. The system comes with plastic curtains to retain as much vapour as possible within the construction of the system itself.

AWS has worked with two reputable Stripping Chemical Manufacturers and conducted various trials in conjunction within the testing centre located at an Alloy Wheel Refurbishment business allowing a significant number of Alloy Wheels stripped used to collate sufficient data to prove the AWS Alloy Wheel Stripping System works! (please note magnesium wheels cannot be stripped in this newly developed chemical agent).
